What are the types of cards on Coles for Business credit?

We offer two Coles for Business cards that can be used to shop online on Coles for Business or in-store at Coles Supermarkets:

Virtual Card

A card that is issued digitally, where card details (card number, expiry date, CVV) are provided in your Coles for Business credit portal or app. Additional Options:

  • Temporary-use virtual cards: valid for a set period.
  • Single-use virtual cards: Expires after one transaction.

Any unused funds on these cards are automatically returned to your organisation’s credit limit at expiry.

With a virtual card, you can shop online on Coles for Business by adding the card details to your payment method at check out. To shop in-store:

  • For Android users, virtual cards can be added to Google wallet and used in-store at Coles Supermarkets.
  • For Apple iOS users, currently, virtual cards cannot be added to the Apple Wallet. If you wish to shop both online and in-store at Coles, please opt for the physical card. We’re working to get this available soon.

Physical Card

A plastic card that is delivered to you via post, which you can tap, swipe, insert in-store or use online. To shop online at Coles for Business, you can add the card details printed on your card to your payment method at check out. You can also access these card details in your web portal or app. To shop in-store at Coles Supermarkets, you can insert or tap your physical card at check out or, if you are using an Android device, you can add your physical card to your digital wallet to enable tap and pay.

You can set card limits so you have more control over your organisation’s spend.
